The three components of the Municipal Electoral Commission, have stated publicly and also directly to the undersigned (the only signed two of the three Municipal Councilors) that they intend to appoint directly (unfortunately, the provisions of law actually concedes the right!) 28 tellers who served the seven polling stations during voting on 13 and 14 April.
The undersigned Mayor, however, has repeatedly invited them, having also summoned to a meeting on the same issue already since last Thursday March 13 (one way empty!) to adopt the policy of choice for tellers draw with the public, but so far without getting their consent.
Some of them said: "Both the people few days later, after protesting, forget everything ..."
The undersigned therefore decided that the sitting of the Electoral Commission for the selection of scrutineers that must be taken on 19 March, at 17.00, which is normally electoral office on the main floor of the Municipal House, takes place, to give greater access public and thus of greater transparency in the activities of the Electoral Commission, of which the Mayor is the Chairman, at the Auditorium of the middle school the same day and time already set. For these reasons, I invite you all to be present, to know "the choice" of the three Municipal Councillors and that is whether to invoke the draw for the public identification of the tellers, or use a criterion blatantly patronage of direct appointment of scrutineers on the basis of kinship, friendships electoral reasons and "social affinity".
